About Me
My name is Gregg Bruno and I am originally from Boston, Massachusetts. I graduated with a BA in History from the University of New Hampshire. I then immediately went into a one year accelerated program to earn a Master's of Teaching and Learning from Boston University. I taught for several years outside of Boston. While teaching in Sharon Mass, I met my amazing wife, Linda. She is originally from Byron Center and we decided to move back here in 2006. Though I've been here in Michigan for 13 years now, I still have an accent. I taught at Byron Center High School, then became the Assistant Principal and Middle School Athletic Director at West Middle School. I also earned a Master's Degree in Education Leadership from Western Michigan University at that time. For the last 7 years I have been the principal of St. John Vianney Catholic School in Wyoming MI. My wife and I have 3 wonderful children. Besides my family and my work in education, distance running is one of my great passions. I am looking forward to being the new principal at Page Elementary School. I can't wait to meet the students, staff and families of the wonderful community. I know Mike Gelmi leaves behind some very large 'princess' shoes, and while I may not be able to ever completely fill them, I do promise to be the very best principal possible for Page Elementary and continue its tradition of excellence.
